The Calgary Police Rodeo is a non-profit society with two primary objectives: the first, to host a safe, professionally run rodeo for our brothers and sisters in law enforcement and emergency first responders. The second is to bring awareness to and raise funds for the Missing Children Society of Canada and the John Petropoulos Memorial Fund.

The Calgary Police Rodeo was born back in 1983 by a group of Calgary Police officers who had a vision to celebrate our western heritage with family, friends, co-workers and the community while giving back. And 38 years later, the rodeo has developed into a one of a kind event for first responders from police, fire and EMS.

Family focused, fun for all and a celebration of our western heritage ensures that this rodeo is a highlight of the summer! This event owes its success to the efforts of the Board of Directors, our sponsors, countless volunteers and their families, the participants and you, the spectators. A big tip of our cowboy hats to all of you who make this annual weekend in August such a memorable experience.
